In 2016, Jamiyah conducted 4 runs of the ECF programme, with a total number of 162 participants. The first two runs saw Jamiyah’s food ration beneficiaries as participants. With the increase in interest from the public, the programme was extended to Community Centres for the third and fourth run, with collaboration with Tanjong Pagar GRC (Henderson-Dawson ward) and Marsiling-Yew Tee GRC (Marsiling ward)

2017 saw the signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with NTUC U Care Centre. This is to enhance employability of beneficiaries in addition to providing welfare services as they move towards self-reliance and independence.
