Home Visits to Beneficiaries’ Houses
On 31.01.2018, CODD organized two home visits in the South West area. The first was to Mr Idris’ home which is a 1-room rental flat. It is an opportunity for the President, Professor (Adj) Dr Mohd Hasbi Abu Bakar, to get closer to our food ration beneficiaries at their doorstep. He also distributed the food ration for February to Mr Idris and his wife, Mdm Jamilah.

The home visit to Mr Idris’ house was followed by another one to Ms Maszlina’s purchased 3-room flat. Her flat was newly renovated with full sponsorship from Interior Diary Pte Ltd.
The renovation company had approached CODD’s director, Mr Abdul Halim Aliman in mid-2017 with the proposal to fully sponsor the renovation of a house of one of the food ration beneficiaries who really needs it. In late November 2017, the renovation was completed.
During the home visit, Professor (Adj) Dr Mohd Hasbi Abu Bakar was also given the opportunity to view the newly renovated home and to interact with Ms Maszlina and her son, as well as to thank Interior Diary’s Creative Director, Mr Steven Loh for his company’s Corporate Social Responsibility initiative with Jamiyah.
